New Cousin!

My Aunt Jose and Uncle Scott adopted a milano(1/2 black and 1/2 white) baby girl and she is so cute! She was born on Dec. 18th and only weighed 5 pounds 11 oz. They named her Cynthia Meshea Tobiasson. She is so tiny and sweet! Avery was loving her and was very gentle around her. My aunt and uncle have been waiting so long for her and just found out a few weeks ago they were going to be adopting her in ut. We are so happy for them!

Santa Claus!

We took Avery to see Santa at Cabela's yesterday. She was so excited but so nervous at the same time! When Tony sat her on his lap she was as stiff as a board and had the funniest look on her face. It took her a minute to decide that Santa really was nice!

Snow Fun!

We got a LOT of snow the past couple of days and Avery has been loving it! One of the first things she wanted to do was taste it, so she got down on all fours and took a big bite. Yummy!

New bed for Avery!

We finally made the transition from the crib to a big girl bed for Avery. I love her new little bed and she is actually sleeping in it almost all night. I was a little sad taking the crib down even though it's set up in the other bedroom for the baby. So dumb! It must be pregnancy hormones. I did love the way her nursery was decorated though, but her new room is already turning out cute. It just needs a little more TLC.

Temple Square!

We went to Temple Square to see the Christmas Lights tonight! It was such a warm and perfect night to go! We couldn't even see our own breath and our lungs didn't hurt from being so cold outside like I usually remember it being. It is always so worth going every yr though and I never get sick of it. It's so beautiful! Avery loved it this yr which made it even more fun! She kept pointing to all the lights and she would get so excited! We love the Christmas season!

Pretty Princess!

I love these pics of Avery in her princess hat! She has had it for awhile but never really liked to play with it till a few days ago. Now she can't put it down! I asked her if she was a princess and she said,"Yeah" as if she knows what that even means! I think she does make a pretty cute princess though!

Sleeping Beauty!

A couple of nights ago Avery was sleeping on our big Soft Spot and she looked so sweet and peaceful that I just had to take a pic of her. A few min. later I heard a bump and when I checked on her she had fallen off and was still fast asleep. She must have taken after me and can fall asleep and stay asleep anywhere. She looked even cuter on the floor though all curled up with her BEAR bum sticking out!

It a GIRL!

We found out we are having a GIRL! I am so excited and I'm sure Tony will come around! Just Kidding. He is happy too! I'm excited to have 2 little girls be kinda close together and hopefully be great friends! My sisters and I are 6 and then 12 yrs apart so 3 yrs is close to me. Also, this baby will be born the same season as Avery was so I already have many cute little clothes!Convenient! It was so fun to see the ultrasound and to see her move around like crazy! We are having difficulties with scanning the pics of the ultrasound but hopefully we will figure it out soon so I can post it.

Halloween!

So Avery couldn't have been a bigger little stinker or should I say witch this Halloween when it came to taking pictures! She would not smile for me!!! She did have fun though so I guess that's all that matters although I may just put her back in her costume this week and try and get a few cute pics. On Thur. Avery had a Halloween party at preschool and they did face painting and other fun activities. Then on Fri. morning we went to an assisted living facility with some neighbor friends and let the kids trick-or-treat. Then that night we went to see family in Herriman and let the kids trick or treat and of course I forgot my camera. It was a fun and busy Halloween!

Big Girl!

We went to the Thanksgiving Point petting zoo this past week which we have done kind of a lot this past summer. This time though was exciting because Avery rode the pony all by herself with no help from me! In the past I walk right beside her and hold on to her so she didn't fall off. Those days are long gone. Even though this isn't the best pic, I thought it was cute because she is so happy and proud of herself that she is riding the pony all by herself. She is getting to be such a big girl!

Pumpkin Patch

We took Avery to the pumpkin patch on Sat. She was loving it! We went through the corn maze, saw bunnies they had in a cage, and of coarse picked out a pumpkin. The weather was perfect! Not too hot and not cold at all. I love this time of yr!

More Gardner Village Fun!

So we went back to Gardner Village last Fri. with some good friends from Idaho that were here visiting. It was crazy busy with a costume parade going on but it was still fun to see everything! There was this cute lady dressed up as a witch walking around who was nice enough to let us get our picture taken with her. I didn't think Avery was scared of her but she looks a little tense in the pic!

Halloween Pirate Party!

My great and very talented plus creative friend Kara threw an amazing pirate party for all of our friends from high school/college. It was for the kiddos but it's a great excuse to get together! Her house was completely covered from top to bottom in pirate themed decor and it looked great! We had lots of yummy food with a mixed drink bar(non-alcoholic of course) She really knows how to party! It was so fun and so chaotic all at the same time! Thanks sooooo much Kara for everything!

Gardner Village Witches!

We went to Gardner Village on Fri. with my Grandma and sister to see the cute witches they put up every year for Halloween! Avery loved it! She kept saying hi to all the witches we saw. It is the cutest place! We shopped at the gift stores and ate lunch at the restaurant I wanted to take more pics but my batteries were depleted in my camera. Guess we'll have to go back. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there before!

5 Year Anniversary

Tony and I celebrated our 5 yr. anniversary last Sat. the 27th of Sept! Wow! It doesn't seem like it's been that long at all. I took out the wedding photos this past week that I haven't looked at in who knows how long! When I came across the cake pics I couldn't resist posting them. It still makes me laugh to this day that we had an almost full on cake fight and it was so fun! I admit that I kinda started it but no regrets. I have loved the last 5 yrs. with all it's ups and downs and I can't wait to see what the next 5 yrs. brings us. Hopefully a beach in Hawaii or Mexico for one of these anniversaries! I love being married to my best friend!!!

Little Cutie!

This is actually Avery's first day of preschool and I forgot to post it! She goes twice a week for 2 hrs to a neighbor of ours that has a cute little preschool setup in her basement. She seems to love it so far and so do I!

Playing at the Zoo!

Cute kids!
This picture cracks me up! Trying to get good pics of 2 year olds is almost impossible!

We had a fun day at the zoo with our neighbors who have little kids around the same age. Avery loved it and was so excited to be there. She kept running away from me trying to hurry and see everything. She tries to be Ms. Independent and it makes me crazy! It was still really fun though!

The Healing Field

On the anniversary of 911, Sandy city puts up rows of flags up and down a huge field to remember those who lost their lives that day. You can't help but get a little choked up when seeing the flags and remembering that day!
