CALIFORNIA!

Oh, how I miss this vacation in more ways then one! Our vacation started out with my sister, brother, the girls and I going to Disneyland for a day. Our husbands had to stay home and work but we missed them! We were trying to do it as cheap as possible so we stayed at the Buffalo Bills Casino in Prim(which was decent) for next to nothing and woke up at 3 am to continue our journey to the happiest place on earth. It was worth it! Disneyland is so fun and it never disappoints despite the long lines and heat. It's always somehow ok and leaves me wanting to go back for more! I'm such a kid at heart! The best part was seeing Avery's little face light up when she saw the princesses, parade, rides, other characters, etc. She loved it just as much as we did! We left Disneyland that night and drove north where we met up with my parents and Sue, so we could attend Mackay and Nate's sealing at the Oakland Temple the next day. Mackay looked beautiful in her dress! I don't know how I only got one pic of her but she looked amazing! The next day we spent the day at the lake with great family friends that I grew up with! And yes I went wake boarding and loved it even though I didn't stay up for that long! Thanks for taking pics Tyra! I miss it and I miss everyone that was there! See you all at Lake Powell next summer!

4th of JULY!

The morning of the 4th of July was a crazy one! We attempted the Freedom Festival Parade in Provo with my friend Tyra, Sister-in-law Janalyn and their families. It was fun but exhausting at the same time! That night we went to a friends house who lives right next to the BYU stadium so we could hear the stadium of fire gong on and listen to the Jonas Brothers live. We had a bbq, did some fireworks and had a great time celebrating our freedom!

The popcorn and snow cones were really cup cakes! It was CUTE!


So the last few weeks have flown by! I can't believe it's already July! It hasn't really even seemed like summer because it rained to much in June! We did have some fun though in between the storms. Last weekend we went to the Lehi parade and Lehi Days festivities. Avery loved watching the parade! She waved back to everyone who was waving on the floats and said hi as load as she could to them. She really thought they were waving just to her! We then went to the park to see the animals and let Avery ride a pony which she of coarse loved! There is nothing better to me than seeing a child's face light up with excitement! Those moments are priceless! Later on that day, we went to Kaden and Gavin's B-day party which was AMAZING! My good friend Kara is the very best party planner in the world and always goes all out! It's so fun! The theme was a circus/carnival party and there was a clown making balloons and doing face painting, fun little carnival games set up, and the food was too pretty to touch! I love seeing what you come up with Kara! I know you will read this and laugh but it's true! The not so fun incident that we had this last week was being sick with colds. First Avery, then me and Brinley. I hate seeing babies sick! It's so sad and they don't understand! Brinley was miserable and not sleeping very much for a couple nights so I finally took her to the doc. to find out she had double ear infections! So sad! We are all better now though and hopefully it stays that way for a long time! This is the longest post!

Brinley's Blessing!

We blessed Brinley yesterday and had a great day! She looked adorable in her dress that my Grandma made and the blessing that Tony gave her was beautiful! We had a little brunch afterwards at our clubhouse with some family and friends with more than enough food! Thanks so much to everyone who came and helped make it the great day that it was!

CUTE!

Brinley got even more cute pictures taken of her when she was a little over a month old! My cousin Katy is working at a photography studio called Pretty Pictures in AF and I think they did a great job! We only got pics of Brinley but Avery wanted in on the action so they took one pic of her and it turned out so cute!

2 Months Old!

Brinley is almost two months old. Where is the time going! She is such a sweetheart! She has grown so much in such a short amount of time! They don't stay little long enough! She is starting to smile a little and she loves to suck her thumb! Avery is a great big sister most of the time. She loves to talk to her and cuddle with her! She's almost a little protective over her. It's the cutest thing to watch! I can't get enough of my girls! I love them so much!

The Zoo!

The Co. Tony works for rented out the zoo for their summer party this yr! They had a BBQ for us first and then we had a few hrs. of animal fun with as many Merry-Go-Rides as a 3 yr. old could ask for. Avery was loving every min. of it!
