Avery had a little visit with Santa 3 times this yr. He is her new best friend! He showed up at our ward Christmas party, neighborhood party, and then we saw him at Cabela's. She had the cutest conversations with him and had a huge grin on her face the whole time. It was priceless! We also went to see Santa's reindeer at Thanksgiving Point. This is the first yr. she is really into Christmas and loving everything about it. We love seeing the excitement on her face and love that she is learning the reason for this beautiful season!

Pretty Ears!
Brinley got her ears pierced last week and they are cute! I wasn't so sure and was kinda regretting my decision to pierce them for the first few days but I think I'm over it. I felt really bad that I put her through that even if it was just for a second. I think it scared her really bad more than anything but hearing her cry made me almost cry. So afterwards I felt like it made her look older I guess and like she kinda lost that baby innocence if that even makes sense. I don't know how to explain it really but I think it just took me awhile to get used to it. I even thought about taking them out but they are done now and I know I will want them done later if I do take them out. I love Avery's earings! I also loved that Avery called her earings her pretty's and loved the sucker that she got right after it was done so it didn't seem so bad at 2 yrs old. Who am I kidding, I don't love them, I like them. I did it for my own selfish reasons and I feel like a bad mom kinda for it. I think they are adorable on other babies and was not in the least bit thinking I would feel this way because there are lots of babies that have it done and no big deal, right? I really should not stress over this but I kinda am. So Merry Christmas Brinley! Sorry your present had to hurt a little and it probably wasn't what you would have chosen.

Dance Recital!
Aunt Sarah and Avery.
Silly Girls!
Ready to Dance!
Avery had her little dance recital last Sat and did such a good job! She performed a little over a month ago too and did just as good! All those little girls in their tutu's looked so cute up on stage strutting their stuff! It was so fun to watch! We discovered on Sat. that Avery has NO stage fright yet anyway! When her dance was over, the next group came out on the stage to dance and Avery was standing on the stairs watching them instead of walking towards us. My dad was on his way to go grab her to sit down but she started going towards the stage again. When my dad caught her before she could ruin their number, she started kicking her legs and saying put me down over and over again. Thanks dad for saving me a lot of embarrassment. Then at the end of the recital the girls all went up on stage to bow, and she ran right up there in the middle of the stage in between some big girls like she was just one of them. They were just looking down on her and smiling. She is one funny girl and I just hope I can keep up with her as the yrs go by because right now I'm not so sure! Love you though sweetheart! Can't wait to watch you dance again in the spring and maybe next time you will let us take better pics of you in your costume instead of running away!

8 Months!
Brinley, you are 8 months old! When did you get so big? You are the sweetest baby and you are loved so much! We love to watch you laugh and giggle at your sister, and can't get enough of your baby slobbery kisses. They are the best! You have 3 teeth now, almost 4 with one coming in at the top and you love biting on everything, including your toes! You can get up on all fours and will probably be crawling anyday, although you do the army crawl now. You are a happy baby most of the time and you love to chat with anyone who wants to chat back. We also love your cuddles and hugs! We are so grateful for you baby girl and love watching you grow. I just wish it didn't seem like it went by so fast!

The ZOO!
The day before Thanksgiving the zoo was open to the public for FREE! Who doesn't like free. So we bundled ourselves up and enjoyed the day with some great friends. It was super crowded but the baby elephant was worth it! She looked so tiny next to her mamma and was so playful! She was the highlight of our zoo trip!

San Diego!
The Co. that Tony works for took all the managers and their significant others to San Diego for a 3 day get away. It was a thank you present for being so great. They even bought tickets for everyone to go to Sea World or the zoo. We chose to go to Sea World and I'm so glad we did. The shows were amazing! After going to the circus and then Sea World, I think you can train just about any animal to do anything! I also have a new love for dolphins. They are more playful than I thought they were and I love how they feel! On Sat. we had a day to do whatever we wanted so we went to Mission and Pacific Beach. Then we headed to Seaport Village to see the US marine aircraft carrier and huge ships. It's amazing those things can even float on water. We had a great time! Thanks Wadsworth Co. Your the best! Let's do it again next yr.

Halloween 2009!
Little miss Cinderella!
Our cute little bunny!
Hot Dog!
Avery was so into Halloween this yr. which made it so fun! She LOVED her Cinderella costume most of all I think and did not want to take it off. Our festivities started Fri. morning and didn't end till Sat. night. Avery went trick or treating 4 different times at 4 different places and we ended it with a party at my cousins house Sat. night. Good Times!
