Reflection!

Tony set Avery on the bathroom counter in front of the mirror which has happened before, but for some reason this time was different. Something inside her clicked, then got her all excited and she was trying to play with the little girl that she saw in the mirror. She started dancing, pointing, and trying to grab the mirror like it was another little girl. We used to show her the mirror when she was a little baby and she would laugh but we haven't done that in a long time. Until now she hasn't really cared that much about the mirror. We had a good laugh watching her! She thought the whole thing was funny too!

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day, we took Avery to the zoo even though it wasn't the best weather outside. It rained on and off the whole time we were there which is why the camera wasn't taken out much. We had fun being together though, and Avery loved it, so it was worth it! This picture shows just how excited she got over each animal we saw. She would giggle her head off, point to the animal, and try to explain something to us about the animal. She is the cutest little thing!

Lasik!

I CAN SEE!!! It's a miracle! I had lasik surgery yesterday and I am loving it! I would recommend it to anyone. It was fast and pain free(very little discomfort at times). I am so grateful for technology! Definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Congratulations Tony!

We had a graduation party/mother's day party for Tony, his mom, brother, brother-in law, and cousin at our club house for everyone that either has or is graduating very soon. Tony is soooo close to being done with his bachelors degree and we can hardly wait, especially him! Also, Tony got a new job as a safety manager for Wadsworth Construction in Draper with a company truck and all kinds of little perks to go along with it. Since he got a job close to were we are living, we took our house off the market and are staying put for awhile! Congratulations Tony! I am so proud of you!

Pierced Ears!!!

Avery's ears are pierced and they look so cute!!! We had a fun morning getting it done with Avery's cousin Hannah, who is the same age as Avery. I have been agonizing over whether or not to pierce them since she was a baby and I can honestly say I'm glad we did it. Avery seems to be loving her earrings! She points to her earring's randomly throughout the day and says pretties. Very cute! Here is a run down on how the piercing of the ears went. It really wasn't as traumatic as it might look.
I have a yummy sucker in hand and life is great!

Oh, wait, what am I doing sitting in this chair again?
Just kidding. I don't want the sucker anymore. Someone HELP!
