Happy Birthday Kaden!

Birthday Boy!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kaden! We went to Kaden's fun car themed birthday party yesterday! It was so much fun! My friend Kara is the ultimate party planner( she is amazing!!!) and it was the cutest party ever. She planned a fun car racing game for the kids and had the cutest decorated cupcakes and decorations that I wish I would have gotten more pics of. Thanks so much Kara for the invite! Avery had a blast!

Lehi Parade!

We took Avery to the Lehi parade this morning. They had some really fun things for kids at the park where the parade was taking place. We saw all kinds of farm animals and as you can see in the picture, goats that you could pet which Avery loved! They also had some pretty neat floats but the Jazz one was probably our favorite. It looked even better from the front but I couldn't get a pic of it.

Worn Out!

We went swimming for a few hrs. yesterday and after just a few minutes of being home I found Avery like this. She grabbed a pillow to lay down and watch a movie but by the time the movie started, she was out. I guess all that swimming wore her right out!

Dinosaur Museum

We went to the dinosaur museum at at Thanksgiving Point for the first time with some friends. The girls played in this water sand box where you dig for dinosaurs. They also had a couple of huge sandboxes where the kids can dig for bones. It is a very cool place. We love living so close to Thanksgiving Point!

Is there anything worse?

Potty training is by far my least favorite thing about being a mom! I flat out hate it and don't want to do it. If I could hire someone to do it, I think I would. Really though, to be honest I haven't tried that hard yet, but the almost full day of trying to potty train didn't go over so well. I have been putting her on the toilet trying to get her used to it and she thinks it's funny. I'm kinda holding out too till after the 24th of July because we are going camping that weekend. Call me lazy, but I don't want to deal with it. There are only built in outhouses with a never ending hole that I'm afraid of falling down in, so I'm waiting till after that to get serious. My plan when we get home is to stay home for a few days till she learns to use the toilet. Feel free to let me know what has worked with your kids cause I really want all the advice I can get. I would like this to be as smooth a transition as possible for her sake and mine. I am not patient when it comes to this sort of thing.

Little Fish!

Our neighborhood pool is open!!! We went for the first time last Fri. and Avery loved it! She was not happy when it was time to go home. She was jumping off the side to me and going under water a few times with no problems. I am so glad she loves the water!

Fun in the Sun!

We went to Thanksgiving Point and Liberty Park this week with some friends. Thanksgiving Point has a really cute Noah's Ark boat with water all around it. It's not too deep so it's perfect for toddlers. We also went to Liberty park and had so much fun! The kids fed the ducks, went on rides, and played in the water. We are loving this warm weather!!!

Silly Girl!

After Avery took a bath(which is why her hair looks awesome), she was laying down starring at my bag. All of a sudden she got this big smile on her face and ran to the bag knowing she would fit just perfect in it. Of course she did and she thought is was hilarious. She had fun in there for a awhile till she fell down and couldn't get up. She was laying there telling me she was stuck. She thinks up the silliest and most mischievous things to do but keeps me laughing all day long!

New hair style for Avery!

I'm trying to attempt to grow Avery's bangs out and they tend to get in her eyes every now and again. I thought this hair style would work till then. It's cute. Right? No, not really, I know. I love how serious she looks with her silly looking hair. She even looks cute like this so maybe she could pull it off.

Happy Father's Day!

Avery is such a Daddy's girl these days! She just loves and adores him. It's so cute to watch them together. Tony is an amazing Dad and husband and I am so grateful for that! Thanks for all you do for us! We love you so much!
